Posts that teach something
The most durable category. Useful content earns follows on its own.
- A specific tip that took you time to learn the hard way
- A mistake you made, and what you would do differently
- A short breakdown of how something in your field works
- Answering a question you get asked often, as its own post
Posts that show, rather than tell
Behind-the-scenes content, which tends to perform well because it is hard to fake.
- The process behind something you made, not just the finished result
- A before-and-after
- A tool, workspace, or setup walkthrough
- A real moment that did not go as planned
Posts that invite a response
Content built around getting people to reply rather than scroll past.
- A genuine question you want the answer to, not a rhetorical one
- Asking people to share their own version of something you posted
- A poll or either/or choice relevant to your audience
Posts that promote, honestly
The smaller category (see the 80/20 rule), but still a real one.
- A specific feature or product, explained plainly rather than announced
- A real customer result, with their permission
- A direct, clear offer, stated once rather than repeated every post
