Does the video go public automatically at the scheduled time?
You choose Private, Unlisted, or Public for each video when you schedule it. Until Google has audited this app's API access, YouTube keeps uploads private whatever you chose. The post's record says so when that happens, with a link to change it in YouTube Studio.
Are YouTube comments in the same inbox as my other channels?
YouTube's comments sync into the inbox automatically, threaded by the person who wrote them, and you reply from there. Not every live platform has messages syncing in yet. The Platforms page lists which do.
