Adding alt text to the images you schedule
One field in the composer, sent to X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Bluesky with the image. What it is for, what the 500-character cap comes from, and why video is left out.

1. What alt text is for
A short description of what the image shows, read aloud by screen readers and shown when an image fails to load. Describe what matters in the picture, not that it is a picture.
2. Where the field is
Attach an image in the composer and an Alt text field appears under it. One description per post; it goes with the image to every channel you select that accepts it.
3. Which platforms receive it
X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Bluesky, each through its own API field. YouTube and WordPress do not take alt text through the APIs this product uses, so the field has no effect there.
4. Why the limit is 500 characters
Pinterest caps alt text at 500 characters, the tightest of the four. One rule everywhere means a description you write once fits everywhere it is sent.
5. Video is left out
None of these APIs accepts alt text on a video upload, so the description is not sent with one. Put the essential context in the caption instead.

How to connect PostEase to Zapier or Make
Every publish can POST a signed payload to a Zapier Catch Hook or a Make custom webhook, carrying the caption, the account and a link to the live post. No app listing needed, and you can send a test event to map the fields.
Connecting PostEase to the rest of your stack
The outbound webhook, Zapier and Make, importing a calendar from another scheduler, and the browser extension are one integration surface, not four separate things to discover on your own.
How to set your workspace timezone
Every time you see or type in PostEase is in one zone chosen for the workspace, not your browser’s. Posts already scheduled keep their exact time when you change it.
How to disconnect a channel
Remove a connected account from a workspace: what happens to the posts scheduled to it, and where PostEase can revoke its own access versus where you remove it yourself.
Describe it once. Every channel gets it.
Every channel you have, included. Adding another does not change the price.
