1. Connect the channel once
Authorize the channel through YouTube's own sign-in. There's nothing to re-authorize per video, and an expired token shows up on the channels screen rather than failing a scheduled post silently.
2. Pick a time, in its own timezone
Date and time are set separately from whatever timezone your browser happens to be in, and the zone stays visible on screen. Nothing shifts silently when the clocks change.
3. It uploads at that time, or tells you why not
The video uploads to your channel at the time you set, with the title and visibility you chose: Private, Unlisted, or Public. Until Google has audited this app's API access, YouTube keeps uploads private whatever was chosen; the post's record says so, with a link to change it in YouTube Studio.
4. Nothing is locked in until it uploads
Open the post from the calendar and change the caption, the time, or which channels it goes to, in the same editor you scheduled it in. Scheduling in advance means picking a time now, not committing to one.
