What permissions connecting YouTube asks for
Four Google scopes: upload, read-only channel access, comment replies, and read-only analytics. Nothing broader, and nothing that isn't named on Google's own consent screen.

1. youtube.upload publishes what you schedule
Lets a scheduled post go live on your channel at the time you set. Without it, nothing could publish.
2. youtube.readonly reads comments and metrics
Lets comments sync into the inbox and lets video metrics pass through, exactly as YouTube reports them. On its own it reads and never writes.
4. yt-analytics.readonly reads audience retention
Lets the audience-retention curve YouTube already shows you in YouTube Studio appear on a published video here, exactly as YouTube reports it, with nothing computed on top. Read-only. A channel connected before this permission existed keeps publishing as before and shows a reconnect prompt where the curve would be.
5. Connect more than one YouTube channel
Each connection is tracked by its own account, not one slot per platform. A second, third, or tenth YouTube channel connects the same way the first one did.

How to connect PostEase to Zapier or Make
Every publish can POST a signed payload to a Zapier Catch Hook or a Make custom webhook, carrying the caption, the account and a link to the live post. No app listing needed, and you can send a test event to map the fields.
Connecting PostEase to the rest of your stack
The outbound webhook, Zapier and Make, importing a calendar from another scheduler, and the browser extension are one integration surface, not four separate things to discover on your own.
Adding alt text to the images you schedule
One field in the composer, sent to X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Bluesky with the image. What it is for, what the 500-character cap comes from, and why video is left out.
How to set your workspace timezone
Every time you see or type in PostEase is in one zone chosen for the workspace, not your browser’s. Posts already scheduled keep their exact time when you change it.
Connect a channel and see exactly what it asks for.
Every channel you have, included. Adding another does not change the price.
