MP4 or MOV, up to 500MB for video. That is the real limit PostEase enforces today, well under YouTube’s own far larger 256GB ceiling.

1. Only MP4 or MOV are ever accepted
Anything else is rejected the moment you try to upload it, with a real error naming your file's format, not a generic 'invalid file'. This is enforced at the upload itself, before the file goes anywhere.
2. 500MB for video, 25MB for images
PostEase's own upload endpoint rejects anything larger before it goes anywhere, with a real error naming your file's size and the limit, not a warning you can dismiss. This is far smaller than YouTube's own ceiling, and it's the number that governs what you can upload today.
3. YouTube itself allows up to 256GB or 12 hours
YouTube's own published limit is far more generous than what PostEase allows. The duration side of it is checked as a warning in the composer once your file is uploaded, not an upload-time block. In practice nobody gets near either ceiling. 500MB is the real constraint, not this one.

4. Checked per channel, not once for the whole post
A file valid for YouTube isn't assumed valid everywhere else it's attached to. Each selected channel is checked against its own platform's real limits.
