Plan topics with a specific custom feed in mind
Since a meaningful share of discovery happens through topic-specific custom feeds, plan each week's topics with a relevant feed in mind rather than a general subject area. It keeps the content on-topic for the audience most likely to find it.
Reserve real time for replies
A calendar focused only on original posts misses a low-cost way to build visibility: replying to other accounts in your field. Planning dedicated time for it produces more of it than squeezing it in between original posts.
A realistic weekly structure
A workable starting shape for most accounts:
- A short list of topics or opinions worth posting about that week
- A few slots reserved for genuinely replying to other accounts
- One recurring pillar for a predictable, recognizable shape to the week
