Decide who is posting
Since personal profiles tend to reach further than company pages, a small business is usually better served by a founder or team member posting personally about the business, with the company page used to reinforce and reshare rather than carry the whole presence alone.
Set the company page up as a real destination
A company page still matters. It is where a reader lands after clicking through from a personal post, and where the business's information lives. A complete, current page (real description, website link, recent activity) makes that click worthwhile.
A short starting checklist
Before posting regularly, get these in place:
- A complete company page with a clear description and a working website link
- At least one team member ready to post personally about the business, not just from the page
- A short list of two or three topics the business genuinely has something to say about
