Reach describes exposure, not whether it worked
Reach counts how many people a post was shown to. That is context for the numbers below it, not a result on its own. A high-reach post that earns little engagement underneath it was shown widely without landing.
Video retention matters more than the play count
How much of a video people watch, on average, reflects genuine performance more than how many times it started playing. A shorter video watched through is a stronger result than a longer one most viewers abandon early.
Private sends are worth tracking specifically
Since a private share carries unusual weight in the ranking, check how often a post gets sent through Messenger where that is visible. Beyond public likes and comments, it is one of the more reliable ways to judge whether a post genuinely resonated.
