The short answer
Linktree’s Free plan includes “unlimited basic links” and “email and phone sign-ups”, according to its pricing page; removing the Linktree branding starts at Pro. Of the six alternatives below, five have a free plan too: Beacons, Milkshake, Taplink, Lnk.Bio and Carrd. Each removes its own branding only on a paid plan, where its page says which.
People look for an alternative when they want their page without another company’s badge, want it to change when they post rather than when they remember to edit it, or want sign-ups and messages to land where they already work.
PostEase, which publishes this comparison, includes a link-in-bio page on every plan, the free one too. How it compares is set out honestly further down.
Linktree’s plans, in its own words
Linktree has four plans for individuals. Each adds to the one before it, so a feature listed against Pro is also on Premium. Prices are left out on purpose: they change too often, and differ by billing period and currency, to compare fairly.
| Linktree plan | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Free | Unlimited basic links; email and phone sign-ups |
| Starter | Personalized Linktree; unlimited featured links; basic analytics |
| Pro | Remove Linktree branding; custom designs; sell and earn with 0% fees; mailing list integrations |
| Premium | Link rules and routing; all-time analytics; data export; social media scheduling; unlimited Instagram auto-replies |
Six Linktree alternatives and their free plans
Each row is read from the tool’s own pricing page, in its own words where quoted, on the date shown. A free plan here means one with no end date, not a trial.
| Tool | Free plan | What it includes | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beacons | Free | “Free forever”: a customizable link-in-bio, Smart Reply auto-DMs, auto-updating media kits, and selling with 9% seller fees | October 2026 |
| Milkshake | Free | “Unlimited links & Cards”, “free hosting forever” and 30 days of Insights analytics | October 2026 |
| Taplink | Basic | “Permanently free”: unlimited links, page views statistics and a QR code | October 2026 |
| Lnk.Bio | Free | Unlimited links, basic statistics, 3 pages and a QR code | October 2026 |
| Carrd | Free | Up to three sites per account, with “all of Carrd’s core features” | October 2026 |
| bio.link | No free plan | “One simple plan”, Pro, with a 7-day free trial | October 2026 |
Who removes their branding, and on which plan
A free page usually carries the tool’s name somewhere, often a badge at the foot of the page. These tools name, on their pricing pages, the plan that takes it off: Milkshake on Lite, Taplink on Business, Lnk.Bio on Unique, Carrd on Pro and bio.link on Pro. Linktree’s comes off at Pro.
If a clean page matters more than anything else, compare that plan, not the free one, because it is the one you will end up paying for.
What to compare
Before moving your link, check the things that change what your visitors see and what you do every week:
- Links: whether the free plan limits how many, and whether the ones that matter can be featured.
- Branding: which plan removes the tool’s badge, if you want a page that reads as yours alone.
- Updates: whether the page changes when you post, or only when you edit it.
- Sign-ups and messages: whether they land somewhere you already check, or in one more inbox.
- Analytics and privacy: what the page counts, and whether it sets cookies on your visitors.
- Selling: whether you sell from the page, and what the seller fee is on the plan you would use.
- Moving: whether your existing links come over without retyping them.
How PostEase compares, honestly
PostEase’s link-in-bio page is part of the same app you schedule and reply in, not a separate product. Every plan includes it, Free too, with a small “Made with PostEase” badge at the bottom; Creator, at $15 a month, removes the badge and adds the media kit. The page holds up to 20 links, shows your newest posts from the channels you connect and counts down to your next scheduled post, so it changes when you post.
Email sign-ups are listed in PostEase, and messages from the page arrive in your inbox next to your comments and DMs. The page counts views and clicks, per link and by where visitors came from, with no cookies and no visitor IDs.
If selling products from the page is the point, compare the tools built for it: PostEase does not run a store. If you want one page that keeps up with what you post, in the tool you already post with, PostEase is built for that.
Moving from Linktree
When you start a PostEase page, paste your Linktree address. Each link comes over with its label, along with your bio and social accounts, and any other page of links works the same way. Your new page lives at postease.co/ followed by the name you choose, with a QR code one click away.
