Social media scheduler features compared, plan by plan

The plan on which twenty schedulers’ inbox, bulk scheduling, approvals, branded reports and link in bio start, each from the vendor’s own pricing page.

The short answer

Most schedulers keep their team and reply features for a plan above their first. Across the twenty tools below, the inbox is listed on 14 of them, bulk scheduling on 8, approvals on 16, branded reports on 8 and a link-in-bio page on 5, and each cell names the plan it starts on. Compare the plan you would need for the features you use, not the cheapest entry plan.

Every cell comes from the vendor’s own pricing page, read in October 2026, and is explained with the vendor’s wording in this blog’s glossary entry for that feature. A dash means the feature was not listed on the plans read, not that the tool lacks it. The first row is PostEase, which publishes this comparison, in the same terms: the inbox and a link-in-bio page on Free, bulk scheduling on Pro, and approvals and branded reports not listed on its plans.

How to read the table

Use it to find the real price of the features you need:

  • Pick the two or three features you would use every week.
  • For each tool, find the highest plan among those features: that is the plan you would pay for.
  • Compare that plan’s channel and seat limits, not the entry plan’s, on each tool’s alternatives page.
  • Check a dash on the vendor’s own page: it means the feature was not listed on the plans read.

Where each feature is explained

Each feature has a glossary entry with the vendors’ own wording for every cell:

Questions

Which social media schedulers include an inbox on their first plan?

Of the tools compared, Buffer, Agorapulse, Hootsuite, eClincher, Sendible and Statusbrew list it on their first plan; the rest list it on a higher one. PostEase includes its inbox on every plan, Free too.

Which plan do I need for approvals?

It depends on the tool: Loomly and Kontentino list approvals on Starter, their first plan, while the rest start them on a higher one. The table names the plan for each.

Does a dash mean the tool lacks the feature?

No. It means the feature was not listed on the plans read for this comparison. Check the vendor’s own pricing page before you rule a tool out.
