What are YouTube Creator Partnerships?

YouTube Creator Partnerships is where brands find YouTube creators for deals, in YouTube Studio’s Earn page. Eligibility, rates, inquiries and brand access.

The short answer

YouTube Creator Partnerships is YouTube’s tool for brand deals. YouTube’s Help Center says its features “enable brands to discover creators for brand deals,” and that every eligible YouTube Partner Program creator is discoverable to brands and gets a Creator Partnerships tab on the Earn page of YouTube Studio.

Brands send campaign inquiries through the tab; you answer Interested or Not interested. If you are interested, YouTube shares your contact details with the brand, and the deal itself, including the contract and payment, is agreed directly between you and the brand.

What the tab holds

YouTube describes these parts of the Creator Partnerships tab:

Creator Partnerships tab features, from YouTube Help, checked October 2026
FeatureWhat it does
Campaign inquiriesBrand name, a summary of the brand, its website and a potential earnings figure; some add deliverables, talking points and payment terms
Media kitAudience insights tailored to your channel, for pitching to brands
Desired ratesYour suggested price for long-form and Shorts partnerships
Business contactA manager’s or agent’s email, copied on every inquiry
Brand partner accessLets a brand you work with connect its Google Ads account to the video, to measure it and, if agreed, boost it

Reading an inquiry

YouTube notes that the earnings figure on an inquiry comes from the advertiser and is not a final offer, so treat it as one piece of information for negotiation. When an inquiry arrives, you get a notification on mobile and web and an email, and your business contact gets a copy. Agents or managers can also be added as authorized users in YouTube Studio to manage deals directly.

To stop being recommended to brands and receiving inquiries, YouTube says to email its opt-out address, youtube-brandconnect-opt-out@google.com.

Getting found by brands

YouTube’s own advice, from its Creator Partnerships page and its brand deals tips:

  • Turn on channel insights sharing in YouTube Studio; YouTube says it improves your visibility in creator search, though you can be found without it.
  • Keep your business contact email and social handles current, since brands may also reach you outside the tab.
  • Set your desired rates for long-form videos and Shorts in Preferences.
  • Keep a media kit with your audience and channel numbers, and some video ideas for each brand.

After the deal

A deal found through Creator Partnerships is still branded content. Tick the paid promotion box in YouTube Studio, so the video shows a disclosure at the start, as YouTube’s Branded Content Policies require.
